<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif;font-size:small;color:#000000"><div class="gmail_default">Dear NPOC Members,<br></div><div class="gmail_default"><p style="margin-bottom:0in"><u>Re: Appointment of an NPOC Membership Chair</u><br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in">The position of Membership Chair is now vacant, and the NPOC EC is seeking interested members to fill that position.<br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in">The NPOC Charter, <i>Section 2.5.1.2,</i> states that: <i>If a vacancy occurs with respect to an Officer with less than six (6) months left in the term, the Chair, in consultation with the EC, shall appoint an individual to fill the vacancy until the term is expired. </i>Accordingly, the NPOC Executive Committee has agreed to fill the vacancy with an appointment, and is therefore calling for submission from NPOC members for the position of Membership Chair. Please note that the Appointee will also represent NPOC on the NCSG Executive Committee.<br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in">The responsibilities of the Membership Chair are <b>outlined in 4.1.3 of the NPOC Charter</b><br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in">Please send your expression of interest to <a href="mailto:joankerr@fbsc.org" target="_blank">joankerr@fbsc.org</a> by February 4th for review.<br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in">The evaluation criteria will include knowledge of the ICANN ecosystem, and participation in NPOC, Working Groups(s), and those from the Asia Pacific region.<br></p><p align="CENTER" style="margin-bottom:0in">The NPOC election will be held in June 2020.</p><p style="margin-bottom:0in">  Regards,  </p></div></div><div><br></div>-- <br><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">
