[NPOC-EC] Communication announcement for AIS for approval

In the coming week, June 16, 2019, members of the ICANN community and *NPOC
<http://npoc.org>* (Not-For-Profit-Operational-Concerns) will participate
in the Africa Internet Summit (AIS <https://www.internetsummit.africa/en/>)
taking place in Kampala, Uganda, from 9 to 21 June, which is a
multistakeholder conference on information and communication technologies.

NPOC will join other ICANN SO/AC on June 16, 2019 to discuss NPOC's mission
and how NPOC will like to engage within the African continent.

The Summit will bring together industry members and the global and regional
Internet community for a series of seminars, workshops, tutorials, and
panels.

Since 2012, the AIS has been a key regional event and an effective platform
for us to engage with diverse groups of African stakeholders and raise
awareness about ICANN and issues affecting the domain name industry.

The summit is co-organized by the African Network Information Centre (
AFRINIC <https://www.afrinic.net/>) and the African Network Operators Group
(AFNOG <https://afnog.org/>). ICANN is a platinum sponsor and a key
participant of the event, with various activities planned by ICANN org and
community members.
