FYI, we still need to work on the charter document and the additional
procedures document and I suggest we finish it in Cancun.

Hello,

Please find linked here
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jBYwsVsmDWsitjsFDJ0r3A7-MraM1G6ABQGPdN2Ockw/edit>
the document shared during the 15-Feb EC meeting identifying edits to be
made to address comments received from the public and comply with
Workstream 2 recommendations.

At the top of the document are three comments with action items to address,
with the first being the most necessary to address (within the operating
procedures), the second being a little less sensitive (if you would like to
do it I’m sure it would be appreciated), and the third is not really
important due to its potential burden (outside of clarifying the openness
of all meetings).

Then there are comments received that are already addressed in the charter
with locations to back it up.

Finally, there are three action items for WS2 recommendations. All but the
right column in the chart is original from the WS2 team. The right is where
we have notes and recommendations to address the deficient items. There are
three total. One that involves adding a sentence from a form statement in
seen in other charters, one that could be solved by adding a quick line
about the amount of time for internal reviews, and one that will require
the creation of annual reports. The last one can be addressed in the
charter with a quick bullet point regarding transparency or leadership, but
I was unable to locate a generic sentence to add.

Please let me know if you have any questions. The next step is to return
the revised charter to the ICANN Board Organizational Effectiveness
Committee for its referral to the ICANN Board for action.

Thanks,

Daniel Gluck
