Bruce,

Much as I'd like to see a technical person take on a leadership role in the
RC, the last set of issues -- WLS and the budget -- have brought to light a
tension between large registrars, some of whom either sat out the WLS issue
(as did RCOM) or who approved the expansion of "registry service" (NSI),
and some of whom took positions on how the pie was to be carved that were
kinder to their bottom lines than to the continued function of the RC.

I hope to see candidates from outside of the few large registrars compete
for the ex-com spot.
