[registrars] What do I have to do to get a vote?

Mark,
There have been no "renewal" fees for the last 2 years. There is an initial
membership fee of $750, but the renewal fee so far has been zero, as the
constituency has not required excess funds.
I believe the new proposed budget presented in KL changes that, and there
will now be annual fees (after it has been approved).
So, if you paid your $750 once, you are good to go until the new budget
comes into effect.
Rob.

Subject: [registrars] What do I have to do to get a vote?
Every time a vote comes up at boardrooms.org I start making inquiries
on what I have to do to get an ID to vote.
This has been going on for over a year.
I have asked various people who tell me to ask various other people and
thus far have not gotten an answer. At one time I was given the URL
to a form to fill out and fax in to the number supplied, which I did
and promptly never heard back.
When Bob posted this link I emailed him offlist about this and have
not received a reply.
Also, we have never heard anything about renewing our fees, it's been
over a year.
So I agree with Bhavin on the lack of outreach, I mean we signed up
over a year ago (I even spent a little time as an RC rep on one of the
whois TF's) and have never received any follow up on how to vote or
any reminders on renewing our fees.
I was extremely impressed with Bhavin's work on the ICANN budget and
would be happy to vote for him.
If I could.
