The GNSO Council has received 5 nominations for ICANN Board seat 14 (replacing Michael Palage):

Mike Roberts

Marilyn Cade

Rita Rodin

Dr. Michael Geist

Philip Sheppard

Details below.

I recommend that the chair of the registrars constituency arrange for a registrar teleconference and invite the candidates to provide their reasons why they are the best candidate.  The successful candidate will serve out Michael Palage's term which finishes mid 2008.

If you have advice with respect to their candidates please feel free to post to the registrars list, or send an email to one or more of the registrar reps on the GNSO Council 
(Bruce Tonkin, Ross Rader, and Tom Keller).
