Dear Members: 

The nomination period ended 5 October.  

Paul Stahura was nominated for the post of RC delegate to Nomcom.  There were no other nominations.

Paul's nomination was seconded several times.  Paul accepted his nomination and posted his conflict of interest statement.

The seven days for discussion of the nominations ends today.

Tomorrow begins the 72 hour period to discuss and or correct the ballot.  I propose that the ballot will look as follows:

/_/ Abstain

Absent corrections, it is my intention to open the ballot on 17 October 2007.

I shall make a separate posting of the same information to the voting members list.
