confusion about conflict of interest statements, let me be clear in mine (both
now and in the past).</P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">I do not, nor have I ever,
operated, owned or been employed by a Registry.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"> <o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">I did not participate in any of
the .org or new TLD bids to own or operate a Registry.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"> <o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">I was the Chair of the Canadian
Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) which governs the .ca domain from
1998-1999.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>CIRA was not operational
at the time, as it was in the development stage, and as such, had no Registrars
or sensitive information relating to Registrars.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"></SPAN> </P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Although I am not exactly clear
on what “Registry sensitive information” is, I believe I have never had it in my
possession.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"></SPAN> </P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">I am currently the President
& CEO of Momentous.ca Corp, which owns Registrars, two of which are ICANN
accredited.</P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Personally, I also own a few
shares of Tucows, traded on the Nasdaq.</P>

interest in other Registrars at this time.</P>
