Dear Rob:  dotMuseum was one of the first seven approved in

2000.  I don't think it is new:<br><br>

<li>The proposed agreement provides for the elimination of the wildcard. 

<li>Appendix S allows for the Sponsor to register names directly with the

Registry Operator, strictly limited to 5,000 names. 

</ul>I remember Cary speaking with John Kressin (sp) about the wild

cards.  Problem was difficulties caused by TLD longer that 3

characters.<br><br>

Another reason to strongly oppose any registrations directly by registry

is one of audits.  How could we trust any registry to stop at, say,

5,000?  They should be audited.  But we have seen how little hope

there is for ICANN to conduct an audit in the RegisterFly

case;-(<br><br>
