Dear Registrars:<BR>

A. NOMINATIONS<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
Nominations are now open for the election of Registrar Constituency Chair,<BR>
Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, as well as a partial term replacement for<BR>
Bruce Tonkin on the GNSO Council. The terms of the Executive Committee<BR>
positions will run June 1, 2007 to May 30, 2008. The term of the<BR>
replacement GNSO Council seat will run from June 1, 2007 to the conclusion<BR>
of the 2007 Annual Meeting in October 2007 per the ICANN Bylaws. The<BR>
nomination period will be open from today until 11:59 pm/23:59 PDT on<BR>
Wednesday, May 16. <BR>

<BR>
All nominations must be seconded by at least one member in order to proceed.<BR>
Candidates must provide a conflict of interest statement by the end of the<BR>
close of the nomination period (or within two days after the actual<BR>
nomination). Anyone affiliated with a Registrar Constituency Member is<BR>
eligible to make nominations or second nominations. Anyone affiliated with<BR>
a Registrar Constituency Member is eligible to hold any of the positions,<BR>
but individuals who are citizens of North America or Europe are NOT eligible<BR>
to sit for the replacement GNSO Council seat. <BR>
<BR>
Please send all nominations and seconds to the list at<BR>
registrars@gnso.icann.org.<BR>

B. VOTING PROCEDURE<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
The voting period will be open for 8 days, starting Tuesday, May 22, 2007<BR>
and closing on Wednesday, May 30, 2007.<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
Voting will take place by e-mail ballot sent out individually to each Voting<BR>
Member's e-mail address. Ballots should be filled out and returned to the<BR>
e-mail address stated in the ballot. They should not be copied to any e-mail<BR>
list. <BR>
<BR>
The results will be announced on this list.<BR>
