Review Team

	Dear all

I agree with the points made by Kim with regard to Kathy
Kleiman's expertise with regard to the WHOIS, her relevant experience
within the ICANN environment, as well as her personal qualities. I
would like to second Kim's proposal that Kathy Kleiman be Chair of the
WHOIS Review Team.

I would also like to echo Kim's positive comments about
Wednesday's call. I look forward to working with this group over the
coming year.

	Kind regards

	Emily

		All:

Thank you very much for a very fruitful and productive
call on Wednesday. I thought it went exceptionally well considering
that many of us do not know each other at all.

In line with one of our agenda items for next week, I
would like to nominate Kathy Kleiman to be the chair of this committee.
Kathy has been involved in the ICANN world from its inception and has
significant experience in the industry and the WHOIS issues. She was
one of the co-chairs of a special Whois conference which took place in
conjunction with the 2005 ICANN meeting and tried to educate and inform
the stakeholders, objectively, of the different views on WHOIS ranging
from law enforcement to public interest groups. Kathy understands the
issues that are of concern to each of the major constituencies of ICANN
and can, as she has shown in the past for many sensitive issues, guide
the discussions and resolutions to an outcome that is acceptable to all
parties involved. In light of that, I submit that Kathy's proven
credibility, expertise, skills, integrity and sense of fairness will
give all of us the assurance that no one group will receive preferential
treatment, but all will be on equal footing.

I am looking forward to speaking with all of you again
next week.

		Best wishes,

		Kim

			Dear Review Team members,
This is a gentle reminder about a key aspect
brought up at our first conference call- nominations for the role of
Chair are very welcome indeed! Please consider volunteering yourself -
or nominating one of your team colleagues. Initiatives in this regard
will be most appreciated!
Thanks in advance - and wishing you all a nice
weekend.
			Best regards
			Olof
