Alice - please would you make a start on summarising the public comment for us. I'm not sure what your usual format for summarising public comments is? If possible, I would like us to see who made the comment (plus the representative capacity of the commentator if any), and then some sort of break down by themes - this could be according to the numbered questions we asked (if we did that), or by definition etc, and then some indication when more than one person is making the same sort of point. Team members - if you would like to see the comments presented/summarised in a different way, please share your thoughts with the list. Best wishes, Emily On 19 Apr 2011, at 16:41, Kathy Kleiman wrote: > All, > Just a note that a few late comments may come in -- stragglers tend to happen from time to time. > Best, > Kathy > > -----Original Message----- > From: rt4-whois-bounces at icann.org [mailto:rt4-whois-bounces at icann.org] On Behalf Of Omar Kaminski > Sent: Monday, April 18, 2011 5:23 PM > To: Alice Jansen > Cc: RT4 WHOIS > Subject: Re: [Rt4-whois] Public comments > > Thanks for the reminder, Alice. > > Best from .br, > > Omar > > > 2011/4/18 Alice Jansen : >> Dear Review Team Members, >> Kindly note that your public comment period is now closed. >> 17 comments were >> submitted: http://forum.icann.org/lists/whois-rt/index.html#00011 >> Rest assured that a summary will be produced and circulated to the list. >> Thanks, >> Very best regards, >> Alice >> _______________________________________________ >> Rt4-whois mailing list >> Rt4-whois at icann.org >> https://mm.icann.org/mailman/listinfo/rt4-whois >> >> > > _______________________________________________ > Rt4-whois mailing list > Rt4-whois at icann.org > https://mm.icann.org/mailman/listinfo/rt4-whois > > _______________________________________________ > Rt4-whois mailing list > Rt4-whois at icann.org > https://mm.icann.org/mailman/listinfo/rt4-whois 76 Temple Road, Oxford OX4 2EZ UK telephone: 01865 582 811 mobile: 07540 049 322 emily.taylor at etlaw.co.uk www.etlaw.co.uk -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... During the discussion, one thing I realized was that though we are assuming certain roles and responsibilities (e.g. Registrant as owner/provider of data, registrar as maintainer of data etc.), the community may not have a clear and cohesive view on them. Thus, I ask if ICANN documents these roles anywhere? Else, we should not assume them and perhaps revisit them.
