Many thanks for your excellent presentation on Topic 17 Applicant Support @ ICANN78.  

   

I think we are all agreed on the huge amount of work that needs to be done to comply with all the SubPro recommendation(s), ultimately P-477 "the Applicant Support Program will open to receive applications for support 18 months prior to the application window for New gTLDs " .  That would be Q4 2024 , based on the projected  next  Round  TLD Application Submissions in May 2026.  

   

Elisa, please would you add me to the ASP Sub Track meetings starting on 21 November.  

   

For the record,  I  participated in the Applicant Support WG  ( with Cheryl and others)  prior to the 2012 Round. Hindsight is a great thing.  It was an abject failure.  

IMHO , To make it a success for the next Round will require an ICANN investment of $20M+ and much much more..  

   

Looking forward to the first call on 21 November.
