Two general questions about the high-test end of the string-to-time function
spectrum:

1.  What's the right way to handle the duration of events (such as "Lent"
    or "high tea")?
2.  What calendar-keeping software out in the field--be it UNIX-, DOS-,
    Mac-, or whatever-else-based, can be used to get an idea of the
    capabilities that might be useful in a high-test function?
