And if you think some of this discussion is bizarre, re daylight savings
time, when I lived in Nashville a couple of decades ago, there were two
newspapers which shared a building and printing facility, but whose
managements disagreed vigorously over whether daylight savings time should
be observed. The clock on the front of the building facing one way showed
daylight savings time (when it was in force), but the face of the clock
facing the other way did not.
