Several of my users have reported that Iran will not observe DST anymore: http://www.irna.ir/en/news/view/line-17/0603193812164948.htm Since it was going to start today, it means that current timestamps for Iran are wrong, so the current rule and a lot of future Iran rules could probably be removed.
