"EST" is the time zone commonly used in Sydney. 'S' is understood to
mean Standard or Summer (not "Sydney" - though it may happen with
increasing parochialism).

My fellow voters in the federal electorate of Sydney (in Lord Howe
Island) adjust by 0:30.
