Subject: Entry For Europe/Athens

Hi,

I've been working on a issue with Geosetter which uses your timeinfo database.

Please see http://www.geosetter.de/mantis/view.php?id=572 for some more history.

This is for Europe 8.20, but Geosetter ships with 8.12.

>From this point on we are talking about 8.20

Lines 1212 to 1218 inclusive.

FROM

Zone Europe/Athens 1:34:52 - LMT 1895 Sep 14
   1:34:52 - AMT 1916 Jul 28 0:01     # Athens MT
   2:00 Greece EE%sT 1941 Apr 30
   1:00 Greece CE%sT 1944 Apr  4
   2:00 Greece EE%sT 1981
   # Shanks & Pottenger say it switched to C-Eur in 1981;
   # go with EU instead, since Greece joined it on Jan 1.

I'm not sure where the problem lies? Maybe Geosetter can not handle the # out lines within the rules.

Regards,

Luke
