Hi All

As Jordan will return to UTC+2 on Dec 20th what is the change that we should do on the asia file on the time zone before we do zic . also is there any new version of time zone file version will be generated before Dec 20 for Jordan

Presumably we're talking about Asia/Amman. Do you have a pointer or two to a publication that indicates the official change?

I'd imagine you'd like something like the following:

*** asia.orig 2013-12-17 10:45:08.000000000 +0100

--- asia 2013-12-17 10:45:10.000000000 +0100

  Zone Asia/Amman 2:23:44 - LMT 1931

                       2:00 Jordan EE%sT 2012 Oct 26 0:00s

! 3:00 - AST

  # Kazakhstan

--- 1419,1426 ----

  # Zone NAME GMTOFF RULES FORMAT [UNTIL]

  Zone Asia/Amman 2:23:44 - LMT 1931

                       2:00 Jordan EE%sT 2012 Oct 26 0:00s

! 3:00 - AST 2013 Dec 20 0:00s

! 2:00 - AST

Don't apply the patch directly as I've monkeyed with tabs so you could get an appropriate view.
