No one here is dictating what time the people of Jerusalem should think. 
  AFAIK, the people of Jerusalem use two different sets of time zone 
rules.  Whatever is done, Asia/Jerusalem will remain in the tz database 
for backwards compatibility.  The main argument is the country code it 
should be listed under.
