What worries me more about this is that names like "Belgrade" are now
used for Croatia and Slovenia. I thought we had come to a conclusion
(quite some time ago) as to *not* mess with timezone IDs and replace
them by links?
I will say again that I am very much against messing with
links and IDs, and much more for "keeping things as they are". Stability
is very important, and I can assure you that these changes will result
in me (as PHP Date/Time maintainer) getting flak for this; just like
Stephen (cc-ed) will for the java variant of this.
cheers,
Derick
