The output of 'zdump -Vc 2000,2010' is the concatenation of the output of 'zdump -Vc 2000,2005' and the output of 'zdump -Vc 2005,2010'. This nice property would be spoiled if both ends were inclusive and if a transition occurred at the 2005 boundary.
