Ah, sorry, I misread them. Still, all the sources that you mention are 
derived from tzdata; they are not independent sources for the 
abbreviations. And they do not really care what the abbreviations are; 
they just use what tzdata outputs.

I am looking for English-language sources that are independent from tzdata.
