</div>Several Egyptian news websites this morning are reporting additional information about a draft resolution, including the technical details of dates and times. It aligns with our current expectations.

One example:

I have not yet found the draft resolution that is described in the article. I hope that it will appear in the official gazette or on the legislative site soon.

None that I have heard. The legislative site I listed below still shows nothing.

The only bit of news I've found is that someone has brought a lawsuit to challenge the decision.

Any updates on the official status of this change?

Thanks,

Additionally, note that the required legislation should be present here: http://www.cc.gov.eg/Legislations/Egypt_Legislations.aspx
Which indeed shows the presidential decree cancelling DST from last year, and shows other active legislation for this year, but nothing on DST yet.

It would appear that this change has not been confirmed yet.
The Arabic version of the original announcement would appear to state that legislation action is still to be taken:http://gate.ahram.org.eg/News/953556.aspx

Additionally, several news outlets are reporting that a lawsuit has been filed in the administrative courts:

Several of our users have reported on new DST plans in Egypt, which is confirmed by
several sources that all say Egypt will have DST from July 7 until the end of October.

Unfortunately, "end of October" is very vague, but we at timeanddate.com<http://timeanddate.com/> would assume a rule like this for it, based on their historic end dates:
Rule Egypt 2016 max - Oct lastThu 23:00s 0 -
We also assume it will start at the end of July 7 (midnight between Thursday and Friday).

I found it interesting that EgyptAir seems to have assumed DST to start in April (like it previously did in 2010), and therefore this obviously causes problems with the schedules:
