A research paper published today concludes that in New Zealand, the
October spring-forward transition is associated with increased incidence
of hospital admissions for trampoline-related injuries for children aged
0-15. The most common injuries are fracture of the radius and/or ulna,
and humeral fracture. Children aged 5-9 were responsible for almost half
the studied injuries, followed by children aged 0-4.
