Correct, strace confirms that.

In that case strace tells the posixrules file is opened instead.

No, I removed the MET file, as the MET-1METDST doesn't exist. Actually I
haven't found a zone with DST whose name matches a POSIX specification
and that is east of Greenwich. Do you have an example about a zone I
should try?
