[tz] installargs loses part of backward

Thanks for reporting the problem. The attached patch should fix the 
issue that you mentioned. I installed it into the development version. 
Please give it a try.

The YDATA issue is separate, and is not addressed by this patch. To some 
extent I'd rather let that sleeping dog lie, if it's not bothering anybody.
