I've worked at places that used 13 4-week pay periods rather than paying us
monthly. That doesn't require a calendar change.
I'd also seen a version of this where January, April, July, October, and
December have 31 days and the other seven months 30 days. 30th and 31st
December are both Saturdays. In leap years there's a 31st June that's also
a Saturday.
