May I remind to Alan Mintz ;On the "en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_and_dependencies_by_population" list shows that 
Turkey is in Asia, One of the region where is called as Marmara region  is in Europe . Turkey is in both  of Asia and Europe.

Kind of a misleading statistic, though, since Indonesia straddles the
equator and much of Brazil, Nigeria, and Ethiopia are within 15 degrees
latitude, making DST unnecessary for them.
