I am afraid that you have that backwards. As someone else pointed out, 
in my analogy, it was my position (not other people's positions) that 
was analogized to denying vaccines. In other words, by using that 
analogy I made myself look bad and I was being generous to the other side.

I intended the word "desperately" to refer to myself, as in, I didn't 
want to be trying desperately to delay. My apologies if the word was 
interpreted otherwise.
