Yes, iso3166.tab uses the usual name; for example it says "Vatican City" 
instead of "the Holy See" (previously "Vatican City State"). If and when 
"Türkiye" supplants "Turkey" in popular use, we can change the 
iso3166.tab spelling; there's no rush.
