As has already been discussed on this list at
https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/tz/2022-October/032132.html, we released
this change for Syria in verison 2022e on 11 October 2022. Data updates
take some time to propagate via telecommunications and vendor support down
to people's cell phones and computers. Once we've published updated data,
it is up to these downstream providers to apply it in a timely fashion.

We have received word, though, that both iOS and Android have released this
change as of 18 October and 26 October, respectively:

https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/tz/2022-October/032194.html

Assuming your phone is configured to receive these updates automatically, a
reboot may be required to apply it.
