<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Our colleagues at EURid are conducting a survey on IDNA2008 and are asking for your input.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">EURid, the registry manager of the .eu, .$B'V'p(B and .$B&E&T(B, is working to ensure that emails based on Internationalised Domain Names are fully supported across email platforms, browsers and any other online resource. The so-called
Email Address Internationalization, EAI, (i.e. unicode@IDN) experiences several failures when tested. Some of the failures suggest that the IDNA 2008 protocol has not been widely adopted.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">With this survey, EURid would like to investigate the implementation of the IDNA 2008 protocol as well as the customer demand of EAI mail-service with the ultimate objective of working with the all DNS community to find
appropriate solutions.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
