<p>I have ccNSO SOI and wouldn't like to keep up-to-date multiple
SOI in almost one environment. I think, for UASG goals, providing
link to any ICANN SOI would be more than enough.</p>

But to be very clear about this, UASG is
ICANN-supported, but it is not part of the ICANN
traditional structure. It is neither an SO nor
an AC, but an independently chartered entity
made up of individuals from both within and
external to the ICANN community. It is not
policy-focused, nor is its remit restricted to
work within ICANN’s bylaws. This gives credence
to the idea that it should operate its own SOI
process that doesn’t borrow from ICANN’s.

may not be aware, Jeff, but you are not only an
observer, but rather a voting member of the
group by default. That puts you in the position
of being directly involved in the policy
generation and outcomes of the UASG, whether you

UASG as one huge ICANN Working Group for

but I am saying in practice that's the closest
comparison). Therefore, mailing list
