Hi,

That's fascinating. Because elsewhere in the giant Android sources I've found a quite different java/net/IDN.java. I suppose the build system ignores one of the two. I suppose I should set up a full android build tree and see what’s used.

https://github.com/square/okhttp/issues/6910 has been reopened BTW, so there's hope on that front too.
