Hi Maureen
Interesting discussion on the reopening of meetings. This is the same
problem that has faced many US States in the past few weeks as they sent
caution to the wind and now the greatest upsurge is in Texas and Florida.
Really not confident that people will keep social distance on the
airplane, lineups, etc. This has resulted in an announcement by the EU
that US Citizens will not be allowed in Europe since their curve is not
levelling. Since ICANN staffing and many of the attendees are American than
the travel embargo can go past this year and into next year. On the other
hand it might result in meetings only in the US. This may see the issue
that a waiver be signed by attendees making ICANN harmless( like the Trump
meeting in Oklahoma)
The drop in attendance in the second ICANN indicates that people are
fatigued and another serious challenge for participation.

   - Perhaps ICANN can hold the next face to face with synchronized
regional meetings - corresponding to their time zones for the main regions
and supported by virtual meeting option.
   - Suggest to look at groups ie. Mobile World, IEEE meetings etc which
are annual important events and see how they are approaching the situation
