Dear all,
So far received one feedback for topics, which I am forwarding to you:

1. Capacity building for efficient participation on Policy development  process ; Here you can consider a couple of webinar for APRALO members where they discuss their  challenges for efficient participation on policy development process  by considering ICANN framework also they can discuss their experiences about local and regional issue for getting comments from other members or subject matter expert.2. Technical Capacity building , Here you can consider couple of webinar for technical emerging issues like ;  Online Child protection , Local content development , DNSSEC , IPv6 , Data protection ,Privacy and censorship . Here you can  invite subject matter expertise on related area so that APRALO members can get opportunity to  learn and discuss their own challenges and experiences for building technical capacity .Will update when get new list

Dear Tijani, All,

I am copying below a new list of topics that LACRALO members have sent to include in the Webinars.

I have collected all the topics sent to this mailing list and I have created a Google Docs. This is the link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1EZIOlZHaKyHc2wUbNpewf8ivXQxtjNvNGCHG55vJGhQ/edit

There are topics which are repeated but the intention of this list is that all of us can clear/organize the list and decide about the final topics.

New topics of LACRALO:
-Dispute resolution mechanism on domain names
-ICANN structure and its working groups: composition and functions
-ICANN and its relation with users and Internet community. Mechanisms of interaction and opportunities of participation
-Understanding of action mechanisms in the multistakeholder scheme

In LA it was decided that
this question on which webinars will be needed will be incorporated in the
survey, which will be send to all ALSs, in order not to have two surveys. And
we are waiting for the survey, our RALO didn't send any questions, just FYI

Hi Guys,

You all have good points. The issue is "communication". Going
forward, I would suggest that the Working Group creates a Survey Monkey which
it can send to its members.

Tijani
is right. It is expected that representatives from RALOs need to gather
feedback from their respective constituencies but since that is not currently
the case, suggest a Google form or Survey Monkey to be done. Fatima is also
right in terms of the importance of ensuring voice of grassroots dictates their
preference.
