Dear all,

It seems to me that the CGP repertoire is expanding, even no one suggests to remove something from the MSR-1.

Actually, the content of the MSR-1, Han Repertoire really need being carefully reviewed , in my view, at least the following issues be discussed:

1. The obsolete Korean LIdu have proved no longer used, They should be removed from the CGP repertoire. Such as 乤、乥、兯、兺, about 80 characters in CDNC

2. The Han Radicals /Strokes that are not regarded as independent Hanzi, (不成字的部首或笔画)should not be included in CGP Repertoire. such as丬、丿、乚、乛.

3. Concerning a few CJK B characters, I think we need to carefully check:

a) If they really probably be used in TOP level domain name ?

b) What’s their usage frequency if available ?

c) Is there really any application needing such characters as domain name ?

d) From technical side, CJK B causes data type major change , registrars should evaluate the impact (to variant complexity and font support problem ) and is it worth to make such change in the near future.

Regards,

Zhang
