  Maxim Alzoba (FAITID):Good Evening
  Michelle DeSmyter:Hello, welcome Maxim!
  mcastanon:hello everyone
  Joke Braeken:Welcome everyone.
Maxim Alzoba (FAITID):I think we will see more people in 10 minutes
  Emily Barabas:Hello All!
  Bart Boswinkel:Hi All
  Alexander Schubert:Hello all....
  Nigel Cassimire:Hello, All.
Alexander Schubert:I see at least 3 people who are leaving today in seconds to greet Tuesday.......
Heather Forrest:We'll get started very shortly, thank you everyone for joining
  Susan Payne:hello
  Nigel Cassimire:Hearing well.
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr (CLO):Hi all
Alexander Schubert:For most it is 29th---
  Alexander Schubert:Me 30th as well!
Griffin Barnett:Heather -- did we need to start the recording for the meeting?
  Michelle DeSmyter:yes
  Michelle DeSmyter:yes
  Michelle DeSmyter:can you hear me?
  Susan Payne:yes
  Griffin Barnett:I hear you
  Emily Barabas:yes
Annebeth Lange:Could you call me, please, I just got home from travel. +4795911559
Annebeth Lange:I am here, but have no connection. Calling from the train station and try to get in touch.
Joke Braeken:hi Annebeth, we will dial out to you
  Annebeth Lange:Thanks
Annebeth Lange:Susan came with comments as well
Annebeth Lange:In addition there has been an extensive discussion on the mailing list
Annebeth Lange:Hi Heather, I am on phone now
Heather Forrest:Joke or Michelle, could you enable participants to scroll through the document and make the document a bit bigger so easier to see?
Heather Forrest:Just one step larger on the document if possible, pleas
  Heather Forrest:please
Joke Braeken:hi Heather, thanks. this was done.
Robin Gross:ALAC membes were among the most active during the PDP for new gtlds. Alan and Evan in particular were heavily participating in the PDP which set the rules.
Cheryl Langdon-Orr (CLO):workload and focused motivation, Heather...
Cheryl Langdon-Orr (CLO):yes a few of our overcommited volunteers can become highly involved, nor are there designed 'barriers to engagement' but we're still going to need to work very hard to ensure that the voice and interests of all the "Significantly Interested Parties" on this topic...
Heather Forrest:Thank you Joke for sorting out the document on screen
Cheryl Langdon-Orr (CLO):are heard and considered
Heather Forrest:I'll turn to Bart next and then make some comments about GNSO PDP - perhaps some notes we can take back to the GNSO
Robin Gross:For example, the concept of the "Independent Objector" was an ALAC proposal for new gtlds that was included in the policy.
Robin Gross:And the "morality and public order" recommendations came mainly from GAC and ALAC, and again, were included in the final GNSO policy.
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr (CLO):thx Bart
Annebeth Lange:I totally agree on that, Heather.
Heather Forrest:We have a separate work stream within the Subsequent Procedures PDP - we could carve out this issue within the work stream to avoid the problem you raise, Annebeth
Susan Payne:@ Heather - yes, subsequent procedures is covering an issue on at least two calls before considering it dealt with to help allow for the fact that everyone cannot be on every call
Susan Payne:that was a comment on an earlier point rather than the one you just typed :)
Annebeth Lange:Work streams are good ideas, and try to find who is interested in which work streatm
Annebeth Lange:That sounds like a good idea, Heaterh
Susan Payne:I think a substream would be a very good idea. And WS2 has only just started (1 kick off meeting) so very timely
Annebeth Lange:Agreed, Bart. The rest of the geographical names complicated the discussions.
Cheryl Langdon-Orr (CLO):yes so true Bart, and whatever happens it has to be timely
Alexander Schubert:Who asked for a "harmonized framework" in the first pace?
  Bart Boswinkel:Study Group
  Bart Boswinkel:ccNSO
  Alexander Schubert:WHy?
  Bart Boswinkel:because of overlap[
  Alexander Schubert:Not feasable....
Annebeth Lange:Alexander, what is the option?
Cheryl Langdon-Orr (CLO):And bring Open Minded re possible solutions Bart..Yes
Annebeth Lange:There have been a lot of interesting input from members on the mailing list, but it would be usefult to put it in the draft as well
Alexander Schubert:Well: The next round starts in 2020 - sometime before we need to know how to apply for 3166 III and country names as gTLD.
  Annebeth Lange:Alexander: :-)
Alexander Schubert:If we also want "solutions" for the 2nd level - wholly separate issue.....
  Annebeth Lange:I agree, Heather
Annebeth Lange:We are dealing with first level here, please no more confusion here.
  Annebeth Lange:Agreed, Bart.
Annebeth Lange:And also suggesting the way forward
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr (CLO):yes
Joke Braeken:I will soon send out the latest version to the mailing list
Annebeth Lange:Thank you, Heather, for chairing. You're the best!
  Maxim Alzoba (FAITID):bye all
  Griffin Barnett:Thanks Heather, bye all
Nigel Cassimire:Thank you , Heather and all. Bye now.
  Colin O'Brien:Thanks for chairing Heather.
  jaap akkerhuis:by all
  Joke Braeken:thank you! bye!
  Alexander Schubert:Bye to all!
  Robin Gross:thanks, bye
  Timo Võhmar:bye
  Heather Forrest:Thanks everyone
  Heather Forrest:Thanks Michelle and Joke!
