Proposed Agenda

1. Welcome

Lars: Prep call last Friday. At request of co-chairs, staff will run the call as it will be mainly administrative.

Roll-call: Paul Szyndler on audio only, all other participants in AC.


2. Staff overview of next steps

How to move forward with 3 -letter codes? Discussed by co-chairs and staff.

Build on email send by Heather (co-chair) 19 January 2016

Staff will prepare a Strawman paper, in similarly as to what was done for the two-letter codes.

The staff document is intended to focus discussion, taking into account the responses received on the 3-letter code survey, in particular those responses that included a rationale for the view.

Staff intends to deliver the first draft just before the meeting Marrakesh meeting.

Heather: the comments made around the feed-back received, emphasises that the focus should be on those comments with a stated rationale. Further the straw man should build on the addtional comments and on the 3 questions send out before.

Annebeth: Notes the divergency in views. Therefore important that divergency is shown , and hence it might be difficult to show/ achieve consensus position.


3. F2F Marrakech

Monday 7 March: 10.30 - 12.00 local time (= UTC)

Meeting with GAC working group, on Sunday is CANCELlED due to GAC internal discussions on CCWG Accountability Final Proposal. It is now scheduled for ICANN 56.

Once the strawman avaiable and on the right path, it is suggested to reach out to the GAC, to ensure they are adequately informed.


No More meeting between now and the f-2-f meeting.
