I agree with Volker on this one -- there should be no cut-off date.  More
generally, we should stick with the working methods we've agreed to, rather
than (repeatedly) re-opening them for discussion, except under truly
exceptional circumstances.  That

In response to Holly, the reason we are distilling and extracting
information from these resources is intended to deal with the fact that no
one will read every word of every document.  I would also resist the urge
to focus largely on comments. They are certainly important, but the
resource-gathering mission is intended to broaden our horizons beyond the
somewhat self-contained world of commenters.  Finally, I would say that it
is highly conclusory, premature and just plain wrong to flatly claim "that
the current uses of the data will not be permitted under data protection
law,"  Even laws against murder have exceptions....  I'll adhere to my own
admonition to stick to our working methods and save further discussion on
that point for the appropriate phase of our work.
