My understanding is that U.S. citizens travelling to Morocco for less than 90 days do not need a visa.  Anyone heard differently?

 READ: Visa Upon Arrival – DEADLINE, 12 February 2016



Dear Traveler,



Our local host has informed us that if you will require a visa upon arrival to attend the ICANN Marrakech meeting, you will need to submit your request by: 12 February 2016, 17:00 UTC. Any requests after this date AND time will NOT be honored.



We urge you to please apply right away if you already have not done so.



The instructions on how to apply for a visa upon arrival is again, below:



For those who do not have diplomatic representation in their countries, in order to facilitate for the Moroccan Foreign Affairs Department for visas issue, would you please submit your applications directly to the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Consular and Social Affairs - Rabat to (m.barrada at maec.gov.ma<mailto:m.barrada at maec.gov.ma>and zaidi at maec.gov.ma<mailto:zaidi at maec.gov.ma>) with the following documents:



·      Copy of valid passport (at least six month of validity),

·      Copy of the localhostletter

·      Flight detail (if available)​
