[ispcp] GNSO Council elections and ISPCP conference call

Dear ISPCP members

 

As you're aware a decision was taken to extend the nomination period for the
GNSO Councillor's election. During the extended period additional
nominations were made and submitted to the ISPCP list. We now need to
proceed with the election process with the aim of concluding that prior to
the meeting in Senegal. However as we already have an ISPCP Constituency
call planned for Wednesday 5th October at 13.00 UTC, I'd like to propose the
voting period should start after that call, commencing Thursday 6th October,
and ending Wednesday 12th October at 23.00 UTC. That will enable us to
discuss the process in more detail and still make the required deadline with
ease.

 

You'll receive call-in details for the Constituency call later today and I
would encourage everyone to join. As well as discussing the election process
we also need to firm up arrangements for the Constituency meeting in
Senegal.
