Dear Alan and all,

First of all, I support all the recommendations.

Second, as I stated during the plenary call #48, R5.1 should be marked as High Priority, not only because data accuracy is the key issue of WHOIS ecosystem, but R5.1 is also the foundation of R4.1 and R4.2.

For consideration and discussion.

Lili

Subject: [RDS-WHOIS2-RT] URGENT: Recommendation Consensus Call
Importance: High

Attached please find the full text of the 22 Recommendations that are in our Final Report.

Note that the CM Recommendations, which refer to Contractual Compliance, have been renamed CC for clarity.

With the exception of R5.1 and CC.3, all recommendations are as agreed to during the December F2F meeting, a few with minor editorial wording changes.

R5.1 was re-written and distributed to the RT on 16 December
(https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/rds-whois2-rt/2018-December/001039.html)
due to objections to the version of R5.1 drafted and discussed at the end of the F2F meeting. It was discussed during the 17 December 2018 plenary meeting with agreement from all present, and was reported in the meeting results with no objections being raised.

CC.3 was mentioned during the F2F meeting but was not acted upon. It too was distributed in the above-mentioned e-mail and discussed with objections at the 17 December 2018 plenary meeting. No objections were raised following publication of the meeting results.

All team members (with the exception of Chris who I presume will
abstain) should indicate whether that support these recommendations.
Should there be any non-support of a recommendation please explain your objection. Please reply no later than 23:59 UTC on Thursday, 07 February 2019. If you are NOT supporting any recommendation, early notice will be appreciated.

Priority estimates will be discussed during the meeting on Monday, 04 February 2019.

We expect the GoogleDoc version of the report to be close to finalized on Monday.

Alan
