[twochar_comments] comment on the release of two-character labels under .casino and .bingo

Dear Sir or Madam,

I´m writing to submit an objection to the release of the name "es.casino" and "es.bingo" for their registration by the Registry operator of these TLDs.

ES is the country code for Spain and ".bingo" and ".casino" are new gTLDs falling within the category 1 of GAC safeguards as agreed at the Beijing meeting, March 2013. According to GAC Safeguard Advice, general safeguards for all new gTLDs plus safeguards 1 to 8 meant for category 1 new gTLDs apply to these TLDs  which target a regulated market in many countries, including Spain.

We request "es.bingo" and "es.casino" remain reserved so that they can only be assigned to a person, entity or corporation proposed or accepted by the Spanish Government which includes the ccTLD manager for ".es" (as it is an State agency). This would allow us to avoid third parties using the name "es" to promote gambling services in Spain without having the required credentials.

We would appreciate being informed of the decision taken in regards to our objection.
