Having read http://www.chopchop.news/blog/internet-globalization-utilize-email-for-non-english-idns I successfully sent an email to Mitch using his Chinese email address 华德勤@犹他州.在线.  I used gmail to send the email. I successfully received an email reply from Mitch still with 华德勤@犹他州.在线. So a hugely successful round trip.

This has to be an historic event and well worth promoting.
