[UA-discuss] Synthesis Report from APRIGF -

The APRIGF has recently completed the compilation of their Synthesis document which looks to bring the wide variety of threads covered during the meeting earlier this year in Bangkok into a single place.

The document is dense.  Each paragraph has many threads of interest.

Here’s just a couple of sentences of just one paragraph that are relevant to the UASG (the numbers below are referenced to footnotes in the document):

Access to the next billion of Internet users is being enabled by innovative technologies such as IPv619, Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs)20 and Email Address Internationalization (EAI)21 . In parallel, it is important that inclusive policy measures are taken such as the universal acceptance of IDNs in order to support, preserve, and enhance their individual and collective uniqueness, and the language, geographic and cultural diversity that these new users will bring to the Internet.
