I will not be able to join this evening’s (CET) call, but I note that the proposed change (3.1) is formulated so carefully that a referral to the UNGPs here becomes meaningless in my opinion. ‘Could’, ‘consider’, ‘using a framework like’. & Where did the ‘and offer remediation’ come from btw?

(Fyi I do agree with suggesting in the FoI that ICANN _the organisation_ could use the UNGPs when ‘assessing its impact on Human Rights’.)

Furthermore, if this is going to be added in some form in the FoI, I take it that the ‘With regards to the UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights, no consensus was reached as to their suitability for interpreting the Core Value’ part on page 6 also needs to be looked at?
