[Accountability-dt] Welcome to the Accountability CCWG Drafting Team

Dear all, 

Welcome to the Accountability CCWG Drafting Team. Currently, ALAC, ASO,
ccNSO, and GNSO have representatives on the DT. In addition, Matthew Shears
has joined representing the non-SO/AC community.

As you may know, prior to the process being revised, the "Cross Community
Group" had reached close to 90 subscribers. In the Revised Process, the text
was as follows: "Several stakeholders have already expressed an interest in
the accountability process and the originally proposed Cross Community
Group. These interested stakeholders should be able to participate in the
proposed CCWG." For a list of existing subscribers, please see the Wiki

The DT gathered briefly on Thursday morning, taking advantage of ICANN51 for
a small meet-and-greet. As the DT was still in formation, this was not an
official meeting, but we will follow up with notes so that everyone is on
the same page. The first call of the DT will be on Thursday, 23 October
2014, at 13:00 UTC. I will send out a calendar invite with call details
shortly.
