Dear Dr. Maureen Hilyard,

This is very nice and a welcome initiative.

I was in touch with Dr. Graeme Bunton very specifically on the need to connect to the pertinent RFCs that make NetBeacon. This was thought of to be for a later point in time.

Please let me know, if you need any assistance on this specific aspect of the "Inside NetBeacon".

Sincerely,

Subject: [APRALO-Policy] My first online course - the DNS Abuse Institute

Hi Shreedeep and the AP Policy Forum members

After my presentation to the Policy Forum on the DNS Abuse Institute (and my ongoing interest in building useful resources related to policy issues) I wondered how I might promote the topic more (as a member of its Advisory Council).

During the Xmas holidays, I had picked up a little video programme and was going to make a short video and then I decided to purchase Articulate, an online course production programme. I'd be really interested in hearing from anyone who uses Articulate already!

But the DNS Abuse Institute topic was easy for me as my first topic because it is still part of my ICANN work and after several weeks of effort, I have finally produced my first online course using Articulate. Ive tried to cover different perspectives and I also hope it is manageable for non-English speakers in our community.

Now I need to have it critiqued. And if anyone is willing to be a volunteer, I have attached a temporary link to Articulate so that people can trial and comment on the course, and send these back to me so I can make any changs. The link below only lasts for a week so I need feedback asap on anything - proofreading; too much or too little text; too many or too few pics; too many topics, etc.

My purpose was to grow some understanding about DNS Abuse and the Institute among our AP community. It is a narrow focus but it was an opportunity to use Articulate's features and it was fun putting it together.. But my ongoing problem will be locating an LMS if we want to measure its use or just finding somewhere to be able to access the course more permanently.

The link is to the draft is:

I hope this works and would really appreciate some feedback if you have the time within the next week or so.

Maureen
